Tiny leg hairs and lumea/ epilator

I've use and epilator for year and invested in a lumea this year

My legs look hair free but they're covered in tiny little hairs - bit the shins and the thighs - that I can see when I inspect them they sort of stick out and catch the light!

This means they don't feel smooth or look smooth, but they don't look hairy!

I think they are so tiny and light the lumea won't treat them?

I also get weird long hairs on the back of my thighs - anyone else?

The lumea is great in underarm hair but there are some stubborn ones!

Omg I do! I use tattoo numbing cream and exfoliate the hairs out then really go for it with my epilator :)

Sorry wrong order* exfoliate then numbing cream, wrap my legs in cling film to activate it, rinse it off and epilate:)

The Lumea works best on high contrast - i.e. dark hair on light skin, it's why they're not effective if you've got darker skin or lighter body hair. This is because the melanin in the hair that makes it dark absorbs the light - if the hair is too light it can't do that (or, if the skin is darker, the skin will absorb it instead and it can cause blistering). So those little fine pale hairs won't get zapped! I just shave those ones - I don't think they'd wax well unfortunately.

Back of the thigh alarmingly long hairs over here, too - I forget about them and then get very surprised haha.
