Smart white trainers for work

I see people wearing white trainers at work, and there’s clearly a type that is acceptably smart. I don’t want to spend a lot as they will get grubby very quickly, commuting and walking to the station.

I’m looking for suggestions please. I had wondered if these would be ok? They are a brand I know fits me, and canvas so I could wash them.

Where do you work?

Office, retail, factory, hospital etc?

And what clothes do you wear to work to go with them?

To stop them getting grubby leave them at your desk?
the ones you’ve linked to are nice
I’ve just got some Geox white trainers with neon accents for work from TK maxx - they always seem to have loads of choice so worth a look?

Office, I wear jacket, blouse/fitted top and smart trousers.

I don’t want to leave them at the office (would mean a shoe bag in my small personal drawer), I want shoes I can put on in the morning and take off in the evening. I am super busy and juggling lots and swopping shoes is easy I know, but at the moment I can’t add one more thing.

TKMaxx is a good idea, thanks! I still need to understand what the right office look is. They all look white and trainers to me.

I always wear white trainers. As long as you can wipe them with a cloth they never stay dirty. I've had good ones from Faith, Next and even Primark ones have lasted ages

I think the style and silhouette of those is perfect - but I'd question canvas as a bit casual and look for something similar in leather / leather look - easier to spot clean and can also wash in machine

Ah, thanks, I had assumed canvas as can put in washing machine but leather/other material is also OK if I can do the same. These seem to be similar but not canvas, but is the profile right?

I love these!! They go with everything, including skirts/dresses and are super comfy. I got them last spring and with a little pink stuff cleaning they are like brand new! A bit more of an investment but they will last and they are leather so you won’t get wet feet if it rains

Rocket dog are sold at M&m direct for a reasonable price, slit may be affordable to have a couple of pairs and rotate them .

I would maybe recommend a canvas pair and a leather or faux leather pair in the rain.

I'm sure they will look fine , people were similar converse with office wear.

TKMaxx is a good shout but I wouldn't choose canvas. I walk to work, mostly on pavements and decent footpaths, and I keep mine clean by giving them wipe every week. I rub a bit of pink stuff or bar keepers friend around the part of the sole that comes up around the shoe (if that makes sense!). With canvas I think you'd get more stains and while you can wash them, repeatedly doing so would ruin them I think.
