Glowy stuff for fiftysomething face

I did a Yes to mask today and it made me realise I need more glowiness!

Great mask but they're not cheap and I want something I can use everyday. A cream or serum with a similar effect.

Any recommendations?

I too seek this holy grail. Standing with you OP, in hope.

The mask is brilliant but not sure how long the glow will last (I only did it a couple of hours ago) but I want to have this every day!!

Charlotte Tilbury has loads of glowy stuff, have a Google and if you go to one of their concessions in a department store they'll glow you up

I want a moisturiser or serum type thing not make up I think.

Goodness the AA stuff is bargain cheap on Amazon - face oils too. Is it genuine?!

I really like the Ren glycolactic mask as o think it gives a nice, longer lasting glow. It can tingle on application but I have sensitive skin and have had no problems with it

100% up your hydration! Makes a huge difference.

An LED mask can also make a giant change, I love mine. It's a noticeable difference but is £££ so depends what you're up for spending!

Skincare wise a good toner and hyaluronic acid is something that I find makes my skin look very plump. You can get a good hyaluronic from the ordinary or beauty pie for a good price that lasts for ages - I personally love the beauty pie one.

Which yes to mask did u use?

I use Tret, Vit C and SPF. I’m glowing more than ever.

WRT to make up, look at Nars primers, Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood filter and Dior primers. TBH the best glow I get is when I use Trilogy Rosehip oil under my moisturiser.

Yes - I bought it after seeing on a mumsnet email & thought worth a try.

Im new to more then basic skincare ( aged 59 ) and tbh ANYTHING im using which is more then Nivea is showing results

Right now a Vit C serum, a collagen serum and a niacimide serum are working well for me, with just a bog standard moisturiser

Im not blowing my own trumpet, but I usually get some sort of compliment daily ( im a waitress ) such as "have you changed your hair : have you been in the sun/? Just theres something about me that people are seeing and cant put a finger on. I wear very little when it comes to cosmetics, a light foundation , a wee bit of blush and a tad of bronzer this time of year
