If feet are too wide for Sargasso and Grey/Calla, where next for some non-rubbish shoes?

I don't even think my feet are that wide 😂but they don't fit in these brands. Are there any other brands I'm missing out on that do non-cheap shoes for wide, fat size 5.5 feet?

I wish I knew 🥲

Unless you have thousands of £££ and can afford these guys https://billbird.co.uk/
who will custom make you a pair.

Failing that, flip flops and men’s shoes really.

Have you tried Sole Bliss? They are super comfortable as well as having plenty of room for my rubbish feet

YouBetYourBippy · 15/05/2024 20:48

@KentInAutumn Bill Bird look amazing! Some lovely shoes. Do you know even vaguely how much they cost?!

@CMOTDibbler I don't think so. Once I can be bothered to order something again that I will likely have to return I will give them a go. Its so boring when nothing ever fits!

Last Time I checked it was £600 plus VAT for the lasts then £2700 plus VAT minimum for the shoes.

Cripes! Maybe one day....

Vivo barefoot do wide leather sandals. I live in them in the summer and have had the same pair on the go for years. Often get comments about how nice they look. Sometimes you get lucky and can get them cheaper from Revivo.

@YouBetYourBippydid you in try any other brands. Would love to know have similar issues

YouBetYourBippy · 22/10/2025 12:12

@Simim I can only ever find the cheaper end of the wide fit brands to fit me. I mean like ASOS, New Look etc. Luckily I wear trainers most of the time and my trusty FitFlop Rallys and Nikes normally do the job. I have actually lost 5 stone since this post last year but my feet remain stubbornly wide. I dream of a quality pair of shoes that fit 😂 Maybe when I win the lottery I can get some made!

What is the actual issue is it bunions, hammer toes, soles being wide or your feet chubby up top and a high volume...??

have you tried Vionic wide range I think they go up to 4E?
https://www.vionicshoes.co.uk/women/wide-widths.html

Some models of Moshulu boots are wider to 2E I think.

I haven't tried Wolky but they might be good?

I have found Calla to be surprisingly narrow, too even though my bunions are smaller than the founder (she posts on social media)
