Wide summer shoes

I have the same issue every year.

I live in boots or trainers. Ankle boots as my calves are too wide for anything higher.

As we get towards nice weather I have no idea what to wear on my feet.

I don't want open toe/sandals for work. Besides, my toes are horrible.

Whats everyone wearing that looks OK, but not the type of shoe your grandma might wear? I'm not looking for anything that's going to have people say 'wow, I love your shoes', but something that draws absolutely no attention to my feet but are cool enough to wear in hot weather and with dresses/shorts. Flat, as I walk a lot (school run, commute) and can't handle heels anymore.

Is it acceptable to wear Toms for the next few months?

No particular style in mind but Grenson footwear tends to be made quite wide (to the extent that it’s a good idea to size down for narrower feet). They’re not cheap but they are good.

Birkenstocks - you can adjust the straps to be wider and the base of the shoe is fairly wide anyway

Hotter exf fit loafers, moccasins or ballerina flats? https://www.hotter.com/womens/womens-wide-fit-shoes
Flats from Sole Bliss? https://solebliss.com/collections/flats
Good luck! I have wide feet too but OK with sandals - the Hotter Tourist sandal in gold solved my problem.

I'll second Hotter-they're the only shoes/sandals I wear. Most styles come in 3 fittings-standard, wide and extra wide.

The hotters are actually lovely, thank you.

In my head hotters all looked like old lady shoes!!
