Which trainers are “in” now?

I’m looking for a white/light pair to wear with midi skirts/dresses/leggings. I’ve got small, wide feet so they need to come in a size 3. I’m thinking about Adidas Superstars but what do you recommend? Thank you!

I have Adidas Stan smiths and they go well with everything. Very comfy. Superstars are very similar.

Gazelles seem to be in just now but I think the Stan smiths go better with dresses as they don't look as sporty as gazelles.

I love gazelles. But I’m hankering after a new pair of Vejas.

I just got a pair of New Balance 327s and I love them - they're the comfiest trainers I've bought in years - no wearing in required!

I’m a bit bored of my 327s but they are definitely the most comfortable trainers I have ever worn.

Veja Venturi and NB 327s.
If you want something less sporty looking I wear Stan smiths for comfort - they are nice and wide fitting and much comfier than the similar style Veja ones.

I am going back to Stan smiths as fast as I can .. got vejas for Christmas and they just aren't as comfy .. the lip of the show can dig in and generally wish I had just stick to my normal smiths

New balance 530. I have them in multiple colours! Nike dunks are still very popular as well and very comfortable too but I find the 530 have more bounce.

I have been wearing Stan smiths for years. I have no idea if they are current, but I give no fucks. They are so comfy and go with everything. They are not clompy or chunky. But then I also have a collection of coloured converse, so maybe am not the best for fashion advice.

New Balance 327's are definitely not good for wide feet!

I've bought a couple of pairs of Sambas and I absolutely love them. I've got a light and a dark version to work with different outfits.

I adored Stan Smiths for years. However, adidas have changed them so they’re now vegan rather than leather and they are awful, so uncomfortable and impossible to break in.

Same here. I wore Stans for years, then it became harder to find leather ones. Why would I want plastic shoes, when the leather ones had been perfect; especially when they weren't even cheap, just because they call them vegan.

Another vote for Stan Smith's here. Comfy and go with anything. I have a floral pair they are beautiful.
I've just purchased a pair of Adidas grand court platforms and they are like walking on clouds. So comfy for my wide feet although my teen DD tells me they look like cartoon trainers 😂 I don't care.
