I went to the doctors as I’m having problems with my knees. The doctor said I must wear ‘proper trainers’. I was wearing sketchers trainers so could anyone advise some proper trainers for me please. Thanks all!
Oh forgot to mention I am 65 although I do mention I’m in my 60’s in the title! Thank you :)

Hi! I am an American grandmother and share your concerns with knee problems. I also have some foot issues. My podiatrist told me to wear Sketchers Arch Fit shoes for support for my feet. They have also helped with my arthritic knees and lower back. If these are available where you live I highly recommend them. The doctor also told me to wear Crocs around home which also give some support and help cushion my knees.

Vionics are similar to Skechers in that they're very light but they do have much firmer arch support.
