Help me accessorise this dress please

I'm hoping to wear this dress to an upcoming wedding reception but was wondering what would work best in terms of accessories? Would nudes work best or am I better to go with jewel coloured sandals, bag and accessories (I was thinking emerald green) to give it a contrast and a younger feel? I feel like metallics is a litle dated? I'm early 40s, size 10 with blonde hair. All advice welcome. Thank you!

I’d go for a white heel and a small yellow bag. Pointy shoes better…mules for example.

Beautiful, classic, dress. I personally would keep it timeless for a wedding and pair it with nude shoes and a nude or navy clutch. Save adding colour when wearing it for another occasion perhaps, when you can play with contrasts but if you would prefer a pop of colour dark pink would look lovely next to navy

Thank you I'm thinking nude sandals actually may be best as then it will give the illusion of me having longer legs. I might do an ASOS order and try a few different sandal options out to see what works best.
