Estee lauder futurist foundation - a tale of beauty product price increases

Loved this foundation a few years back, but surely Estee lauder foundations used to be around £30?

Have looked at the price today and it's gone up to £42!! Can anyone suggest a cheaper dupe for this foundation?

And what skincare/beauty products have shocked you with their prices lately? Any cheaper alternatives you have switched to and been happy with?

i can’t remember the last time i’ve paid full price

surely you wait for the department stores regular 20% off beauty?!

Glossier Cloud Paint used to be £15, now it's £22. Makeup is one thing where I'd prefer it if items were downsized to avoid price increases, since I hardly ever use any of it up before it disintegrates.

But I was doing this BEFORE the price went up! so even with a discount it feels extortionate

I feel like this also. I wouldn't mind 20ml foundations if it made prices more affordable for me.

I take ages to use up foundations too and have a few on the go. A tinted NARS moisturiser I just got I was surprised at the price compared to eg the foundation which I’d thought I might get.

I was wearing a new Garnier BB cream/tinted moisturiser and the sales woman said it looked good on me so maybe I’ll just stick with that.

I’ve got Daniel Sandler watercolour blusher too and am tempted to use up Boots collection blushers and a Maybelline cream blusher too. To be honest I can’t really tell the difference between some of them and I’m usually a high end girl.

Bloody hell that's a hike!

I paid a tenner for a Rimmel lippy today that would've been £6-7 before COL.

FFS, last time I bought it I paid £36, and that was annoying.

I've bought the rimmel foundations for £8-9 not too long ago, and now they are £11. It's not quite the budget brand it used to be

Had a quick Google and there are loads on offer which is good as I'm coming to the end of my Futurist.

If you Google nowhere seems to be full price. Look Fantastic is £31 and there's loads of others.

You want primarks. It was recommended on here. It’s wonderful
