I will be wearing light turquoise blueish linen trousers, so I don't want black or anything too dark as it will clash, but l don't qant anything too light or beige either.

I'm 5'2" and size 8-10 f that makes a difference, . Perhaps some Mary Jane style shoes that have a slight heel but couldn't see any decent ones today in Marks and Spencer.

What do people wear these days thats comfortable and looks good? Please help, as its been ages since I've been to a wedding and I feel so out of style!

TIA

I think metallics are the best choice. Silver, gold, pewter... all considered as neutral now.

Yes, I had silver in mind.

I too was going to suggest a metallic colour. Did you have a budget in mind? These might be completely wrong, but just some other ideas:

Or a wedge with a covered toe?

Oh no!

Thank you@CJ0374 , but they are a bit too spiky and pointy for my liking. I'd like something a bit more round at the front as my feet are not very dainty!

I'd like the heel/wedge to have have a bit more surface area but I'm not opposed to flats either. I've seen silver and gold trainers in the shop, but is this acceptable for a wedding if you're over a certain age?

Thanks@Ilovemyshed , they're actually a very good match to the colour trousers that I'm going to wear. I would like to have a pair that can be worn with many colours if possible.

I love that style. @Illpickthatup I'd prefer silver, so I'll see whether there is anything similar. What a bargain too!

Thank you @CJ0374 and @Illpickthatup . Those links are very helpful. Lots of ideas for myself and for dd who will need a pair for her prom as well as the weddings.

Mustard colour goes great with turquoise

Take some trainers with you for the dancing! Every wedding I've been to the past few years 80% of women are in trainers by the end of the night

Thank you @Boscoforever . I like the Mary Jane flats, but sadly they're a bit out of my budget, as I know that I won't wear them enough to make it worth it.

For anyone still following, I've looked at styles similar to the Paradox London one but in silver, and I get lots of results for dance shoes.

Now, I know that true dance shoes will be covered with a thin layer of suede on the sole, so that's no good, but I managed to find some results that had rubber soles which incidentally would actually be unsuitable for dancing! Would they be suitable for wearing outside?

Most of the styles I like comes from the website below, but I'm not sure about ordering from them. I know it's a long shot, but anyone know anything about Dance and Sway?

Thank you @LMMuffet . They seem like a good, budget friendly option.
