Epilator recommendations

Wise ladies of S&B, please recommend me an epilator. I had a Braun one (not cheap) which was good but the battery was terrible. It wouldn't charge. I got an exchange and had the same issue.

Then lockdown lifted and the salons were open...now the only one near me has closed again! It's just not convenient time-wise to get to the one now closest.

I found the epilator really handy for in between salon trips at least. What can I buy now?

Was good but I then upgraded to a Braun IPL as I was tired of epilating and waxing all the time. IPL has been really effective. I've gone from having thick coarse hair to hairless legs / underarms / forearms in about seven weeks of treatment. Next is bikini line.

Thank you Tea. Will investigate. IPL probably won't work for me as the hairs are too light but will look at Phillips

I got this one last year and it’s excellent. Battery seems good so far (I usually go for wired for this reason). I am also too fair for IPL.

Thanks Squirrel. That is similar to what I had but a more fancy version. I liked what I had but there did seem to be a battery fault on it. It's quite a bit more so will have a think!
