I've had a change of circumstances & can no longer justify spending £££ on Estee Lauder serum & night moisturiser. I am 55 so defo need it!

I have reasonably good combination skin & like non oily creams that absorb well.

TIA

I've used Estée Lauder since I was about 20 (I'm 51 now), for exactly the same reason I've swapped to Aldi Caviar Day Cream, I bought it as a 'get me through' and have kept using it. It can take a bit more time to soak in but it's lovely

Nivea - no need to spend £££

I discovered the Inkey List from a recommendation on here last year when I posted a similar thread, I am huge convert! They have a really good range depending on your skin type, my favourites are the peptide moisturiser and vitamin b,c and e moisturiser with the polyglutamic acid serum.

Revolution do a dupe that seems almost identical.

CeraVe is also excellent.

Aldi also a dupe of the Estée Lauder advanced night repair, which I use when I can buy it

For me, I use Aldi lacura (or is it Lidl) Q10 night moisturiser and either use one of their serums or buy something better like eg Neals Yard Rose Oil. I think Rosehip essential oil is good for anti ageing.

The Ordinary. Reasonably priced and very effective. I use a range of their products and my skin has really improved. The hyaluronic acid serum and moisturiser are brilliant especially in the winter.

FiatEarth · 10/05/2024 10:18

Avon?

sickasapug · 10/05/2024 10:24

Thanks all

I don't have an Aldi close enough but I've ordered the Revolution. I will report back & let you know how it gets on.
