I've been invited to tag along to Windsor Castle for the investiture of a friend-- and while I'm excited to go I am having serious outfit anxiety. I haven't had to dress nicely in awhile and nothing in my wardrobe is suitable.
I'm 5'2" and have a big bum and thighs, some waist (but not as much as I used to) and big but not enormous boobs. Probably size 14 if the cut is right. I don't love my legs and certainly wouldn't want to show my knees if I were to wear a dress. Tend to look best in fit and flare/A-line styles and usually they need to be petite or the proportions are wrong. The guidelines are day dress, suit or trouser suit. It'll be summer, but presumably could be chilly inside (or outside) so I need to have a layer maybe.
I looked at Bombshell, which seemed like it had promise, but literally while I was looking at the website it stopped working and a message popped up saying they've gone bankrupt. Other ideas? I'm in London.
