Very dry skin on knees, what gets rid of it?!

After years spent crawling around on the floor after kids (toddler & pre schooler over here!) I have very unsightly knees, my mum calls it ‘maids knee’😩
Tough thick dry areas of skin that I can’t seem to get rid of.

Anyone managed to banish it for good?

Summer is approaching & I want to wear dresses and such

I'd try cracked heel balm, I think the best is Flexitol.

Also making sure you drink at least 2.5 litres of water every day will always help with skin dehydration.

+1 on the high urea cream, it's great for knees and elbows as well as hard heel skin. I get the giant Flexitol tub from Boots online.

Lansinoh nipple cream is great on everything. It's basically lanolin

Thank you @CombFromAShoe @Myfavouritecolourisanimalprint @NisekoWhistler much appreciated!

House maids knees, yep, been there , got the t -shirt

Whatever you feel fit to use on the feet - tear on. Its more then a few layers deep do watch, soon as you see pink skin, ease off and use a moisturiser and maybe a scrub. Really keep and eye on what reactions you are getting. When the skin is so tough tou can throw anything at it, but 24 hrs later there may be fresh new skin showing, thats the minute you ease off

@suki1964 thank you for the advice, I used the Flexitol heel balm, it’s working a treat, I’ve only applied twice and it’s already looking & feeling much better, will keep an eye out on the pink skin.

Another option is QV intensive which I got from Amazon. It is the only thing that sorted my dry and cracked elbows.
