Help me find summer dresses please

The weather in my area has gone from constant rain and cold to very warm & sunny very quickly!
I dug out some summer stuff from last year, however I have lost quite a bit of weight and none if it fits !
I am looking for dresses in particular as I'm sick to death of my jeans and jeans and blouse combo.
I am 5ft 2 size 10 , petite but curvy if that makes sense. I'm struggling to find the perfect length for me , all online go from one extreme to the other , either Maxi/ long , which completely drown me out and make me look like a sack if spuds or they are short ! I want something in between maybe just below knee? I need it to be relatively fitting as also loose clothing can also be unflattering and frumpy on me.
Wrap dresses have suited me in the past but all the ones I've looked at seem more evening wear too dressy... suggestions please ! I like floral as I've always dressed quite feminine and retro kind of look.
Dresses I can maybe wear with trainers or sandals/ flip flops.
Suggestions please ....
Thanks :)

There’s a lovely dress on the Zara website that I have seen IRL but can’t justify the cost but you might like it. I’ll try and get the number of it so you can do a search. I am also petite! It’s a short printed dress that looks, in my eyes, more expensive than it is. The number is | 2183/057

I’m pretty much the same size, height and age as you.I’m trying to overhaul by wardrobe after having kids. I honestly just trawl through the petite ranges in next, Debenhams, M&S, asos and order lots online. Petite will fit better and not drown you. Then I send back whatever doesn’t look right. I do have non-petite dresses but they are short above the knee ones. Also follow petite influencers for inspiration.

I just looked and Dorothy Perkins have lots of petite midi dresses on sale.

This is the sort of thing I love , however it's literally the only dress I have found I like and its £54!! I can justify it.

Brilliant thank you, I always think petite is for the size 6 and 8s and 5ft under , I'll try that
