Smart outfit for work presentation

Could anyone help me? I've recently stepped up from a freelance role into a more formal job and I'm going to be on stage giving a presentation. I've lost ALL sense of style so would like something I feel comfortable in. Definitely short-sleeved so I can layer with a cardigan (in case I get the nervous sweats). Am open to a dress, trouser suit, skirt and blouse. Good legs, needs to be flattering on the stomach. Help!

I go for tailored trousers, fancy shoes and a sleeveless cotton top (wear jacket or cardigan over it - I get hot and this is cool but smart).

last lecture I gave I wore a wool dress and was boiling on stage under the lights.

You might be better off with a loose but not voluminous black or navy linen dress with some weight to it. Sweat won’t be visible and you’ll look more authoritative than in any cardigan.

Do you have a budget?

Have you looked at The Fold? They have amazing things (including the trousers and a blouse, if you don't like their more formal work dresses). I find their things perfect for what you describe.
