Straight leg jeans

Hi , I’m trying in vain to find a nice pair of straight leg jeans that fit well , I just bought a pair from M&S the length is good but they are baggy around the knees which I don’t like
Any recommendations please of good fit ones ?
Ive added a photo from Instagram of the sort of fit I’m looking for as you can see their not baggy around the knees a really nice fit

I like Lands End Clothing straight leg jeans - they come in a long enough leg too (33") which is fab!

Bonmarche jeans are brilliant, about 5 different leg lengths and styles. Stopped buying anywhere else when I found these.

I think for straight leg jeans (and other styles too) to keep its shape they need to be mostly cotton (99% or maybe 98%). The more spandex/elastene/lyocell etc the more likely it'll bag at the knees and lose shape. M&S will have some jeans with higher cotton content and for other high street shops, Mango sometimes have nice jeans that are 100% cotton.

I'm glad you said that about M&S jeans being baggy around the knees I thought it was just my shape. I'm only 5 ft tall and carrying more pounds than I need but find jeans that fit nice a nightmare. Skinny, slim straight non seem flattering 🙄

Looking for the same thing. I bought Marks Sienna jeans recently - already had a pair which were pretty perfect from a year or so back but this version … well the lower leg is almost a poorly fitted skinny and I have slim legs.

I like Levis 511.

Skinny jeans in a size or two up can act like straight leg sometimes (die hard charity shop shopper here). That way you get stretch and comfort round the waist but your calves can breathe.

I rate the TU (Sainsbury's) straight leg jeans. Dark denim shade, £16 a pop!

Fat face have a nice straight leg jean. I bought a pair on line recently. They are a great fit but I feel like they denim it quite thick so not great in the summer but will be great in the winter.

Have you tried next lift, slim & shape slim fit jeans? They keep their shape well, not cheap, around £45, but good quality. Also come in skinny, boot cut and flare.

River Island - they are the holy grail of straight leg jeans.
