Dyeing black clothes marked by bleach

I got bleach on my favourite black skirt (a kind of jersey stretchy material) and there are now dyed orange streaks. Will these go back to black if I get a washing machine dye pack?

I’d go over the stains thoroughly with a permanent black marker before dyeing. Also, not all dyes are suitable for polyester so check the pack if your skirt contains it.

If it’s viscose yes, it works a treat. If it’s man-made fibre don’t even bother - use a sharpie.

I use a sharpie too. It will fade a bit from the wash but just go over it again with the sharpie.

Great advice thank you. Going to raid the kids pen supplies

Another vote for sharpie!
