Spf that works with makeup

Hi all.
Im really struggling to find an spf that doesnt make my makeup go all pactchy and slide off. I have combination skin so the extra oiliness is not appreciated. I've had issues with spf slipping off my forehead and going into my eyes (i guess when i got hot). Any ideas about what to try that gives me a good base for makeup? I use no7 primer too

Thanks
X

I like the Eucerin oil control. I have oily skin and it doesn't make it any worse.

I LOVE the super goop spf 50. It is so lightweight and not at all oily: however it’s mega expensive. I keep it in my bag and save it for days out to put on over my make up when I need a top up.

day to day I’ve been using the beauty pie featherlight spf50 (with primer) it seems to glide on and makeup sits well on top.

I’ve also like facetheory vit C spf but it was only spf 30. They have just brought out a spf 50 but I wanted to try beauty pie so didn’t try it.

Check out ultra Violette.

Beauty Pie featherlight- it's billed as a sunscreen + primer so makes an excellent base.

Bondi Sands sensitive is great.

I used Soltan Once, 8hr advanced protection from a big well known chemist that rhymes with shoots - don't know if I can name them here!!!!

This stuff is brilliant, it has lasted me ages (4 years, ) UVA and UVB protection it's waterproof and stinks but it provides protection to my face as I cook/burn in the sun as my skin is white as a sheet of A4 paper. I even burn through windows hence my curtains being closed in bright sun shine.

I never wear makeup under it because it replaces a foundation for me. I think it has a foundation in it, or that's how it looks on me.

La Roche-Posay Anthelios Invisible Fluid

Ultrasun is the best one I've found for under make up and the only one that doesn't sting my eyes.

Back21970 · 01/05/2024 21:58

I like Ultrasun tinted but generally don’t wear a lot of makeup on top day to day now.

I have started looking at setting sprays with SPF for more made up days - anyone recommend a good one?

Nivea water gel - invisible and undetectable. Some of the ones above still make me oily.

Thank you all! Some good ideas to look into
