Necklace Layering Clasp?

Do these work? I've got a couple of gold necklaces that I like to layer, but they get tangled.

I've seen these layering clasps that are meant to stop this happening, but I'm not convinced - any mumsnetters used them?

If wearing two necklaces attach the first necklace clip to the second necklaces loop, and the same for the other ends.
It stops them twisting

You don't need a special clip (if you Google " stop two necklaces tangling" or similar you can see what I mean)

I tried the trick of attaching each necklace to the other and they just looked tangled from the get go. 😆
