Jacket/ coat for work to wear now

Hi, I was wondering what type of jacket/ coat I can wear over my dresses to work. I guess business casual so not a suit type jacket. My winter coat is far too warm but a hoodie is too casual. What can I wear instead? Looking for ideas.

I have swapped my winter coat for a leather biker style jacket for work now it's warming up a bit.
Depending on what I'm wearing I'll likely mix it up with a denim jacket at some point.
