I'm 45 with some big pores on my nose which I hate. Is this baked foundation as good as the adverts suggest?
I've tried Il Makiage and I wasn't blown away by it.
I think I would be using 'fair' as my colour.

I could be you! Exactly the same situation and age, didn't like I.M. But I've just ordered some LG baked foundation in fair this week. When it comes I'll try and remember to update if no one else has by then.

I bought some and really like how it sits on my face. However my skin hates it - it leaves me with patchy, itchy bits all over my cheeks. Gutted.

Thanks for replying. I'm currently trialling Skin & Me. It seems to leave my forehead lovely and smooth. I don't really have any wrinkles anyway but it is leaving my cheeks really dry. I always used to have oily skin so now I'm just really confused!!
If it was a bit cheaper, I'd probably buy it to trial it but it isn't and I'm worried my skin won't like it either and my nose will breakout in protest 🤯🤯

Ive been wearing LG Balance and Brighten in Light for the past month

I have combination skin, oil slick of a t zone but can be really dry and crusty

So for me it was getting the skin as balanced as possible with skin care and diet which has been ongoing , the scaly patches are gone , just the oil slick still being worked on

I also bought the Spackle Primer

So my routine now is cleanse and moisturise, let that sink in, add the Spackle, let that dry ( brush teeth , get dressed, it takes a few minutes to dry completely ) then I go in with the Balance and Brighten

It is Light to medium coverage, its not going to give a blank canvas.

I found it easier to use on of my denser kabuki brushes to stipple on over the areas I want more coverage, then use a softer one to blend out . Now I have a good bit of colour to my face ( I dont do sunscreen) I dont need to apply as much so I just use the brush she sells - its a nice soft brush

You do need to layer up.

Nope it doesnt settle in my lines and wrinkles

It doesnt cake or slide off for me

Nor is it drying - I moisturise well before application

Im getting comments along the lines of " you are looking very fresh today"

Its like it really does make a difference without it being there?
