Biab burning

I have been getting biab done for a year, my beautician switched products and every single finger had to be removed from curing as my nails were burning, what is causing this?

It’s a heat spike. Curing gel is an exothermic reaction, causing heat. Many lamps have a low heat setting for curing biab or you can put your fingers in the lamp for a couple of seconds, remove and then place back in. It’s completely normal but is more common if your nails are weak

I read that some biab has an ingredient in that can cause sensitivity and some people had to go back to the old brand of biab as the new stuff was burning them when their nail tech switched. Might be worth having a bit of a read and maybe buying a bottle of biab for your nail tech to use just on you

Heat spikes, usually occurs when the product is thick, which BIAB is. As before there should be a cool setting on the lamp or just present the nail to the lamp fleetingly once or twice before putting the hand under. What I mean is dont go directly under, just kind of put your nails in slightly and pull out fast
