Spring coat recommendations?

Hi all,

It's getting too hot for my winter coat but it's not warm enough for denim jacket season yet so I'm on the hunt for a spring coat. I commute everyday which involves walking and some time on the train, so I'm probably looking for something waterproof (or at least water resistant) but something that won't get too hot when it starts to get sunnier? I usually wear midi dresses or jeans & a top to work so I'm looking for something that would go with these - my style is definitely more casual.

If anyone has any recommendations for something that will fit the bill please share them - spring is such a tricky season as it can be rain one minute and sunshine the next!!

It’s padded but not puffa jacket big. It’s warmer than a denim jacket
