If I'm sensitive to RapidLash am I likely to be sensitive to all lash growth serums?

I've tried RapidLash on two different occasions (different tubes), and had to discontinue both times as I developed sensitivity and pain - possibly an allergy! I really want to get longer lashes though, as mine have become so short with age, but I don't want to keep buying expensive products and then wasting them.
Has anyone been sensitive or allergic to one eyelash serum but not another one?

I'm sensitive to Rapid Lash but had no issues with UK Lashes.

Lots of people are sensitive to rapidlash as it has a prostaglandin, you need one that doesn't. Uk lash sensitive doesn't.

I see! Is Uk Lash as effective as other lash serums? Does it grow eyelashes really long?

Yes, it does. I didn't think it was working as it seemed to take a long time to see growth but persevere, and it definitely gives good results.

I have sensitive eyes and with other serums, it just made my eyes red and itchy. UK Lash was great. It did take some time to see growth but it was worth the wait. I loved getting my lashes done previously but it left them really unhealthy and short so I stopped and used a serum to help them grow. This is the one I bought. Good luck! https://www.uklash.com/products/uklash-sensitive-eyelash-serum?variant=40535627038809

I wouldn't touch those with prostaglandins. Orbital fat loss and dark hollows. Though a friend of mine swears they helped dissolve her (badly placed) tear trough fillers. I don't even know if that's possible.

DD found UKLash irritated her eyes , but fine with Revitalash

I use the Revitalash brow serum , I found the UKLash brow serum smelled really nasty after only a few weeks .

Does UK Lash carry the risk of orbital fat loss?

I've a question .. I was happily using a serum with amazing results for 18 months (NYK1) them has to stop as I was having awful blepharitis. Symptoms cleared quickly after and have stayed away

But boy I miss those lashes.

I understand that prostaglandin was likely the issue. I'm f some serums without this are effective then how is it making lashes grow so well?

Darklane · 27/04/2024 17:00

UKLash gave me dreadful dark red eyelids both top & bottom . No soreness oddly but looked awful, like I’d been punched in the eyes. Eventually cleared up after I stopped using it. Tried again with a fresh tube but same problem.

I seem sensitive to a lot lash Serums. I am using The Ordinary one- but I only use it a few times a week. Seems to work fine.
The most effective one was LashCare from Rumi which was for sensitive eyes but was dearer than The Ordinary. Doesn't look like either of those have prostaglandin in them which might be why they were ok

BigMandsTattooPortfolio · 27/04/2024 17:17

I just use macadamia or apricot kernal oil. Had great results.

Mercurial123 · 27/04/2024 17:39

The Ordinary didn't work for me.
