Boohoo returns

Not sure if this is the best place to post this one. I had a boohoo order delivered, need to return some items but due to some circumstances, tried to generate the return 1 day later than the 28 day return window. I've emailed boohoo to ask for an exception but I'm getting nowhere, and it's all done via emails so a lot slower than the good old telephone. Anyone have any luck in getting a refund outside of the returns window with boohoo?

You're very unlikely to get a refund if its outside their 28 days

Iv just had a nightmare with them after trying to start a return the very same day I received my package from boohoo so I would be very surprised if you got anywhere after the 28th day. Sorry, I’d still try but my experience says probably not.

in terms of contact though. I could not get the return portal to work then I couldn’t get any response at all from email but i eventually after searching for ways to get in touch found they did messages and got a response from apple message although even then it has taken multiple messages over 3 weeks and then a dispute where they said I had only returned one of the two items, and told me I would not be refunded.

iv finally had the second item refunded but it’s taken huge amounts of work on my part.

i had never used them before but I’ll tell you I’ll never ever use them again!

I had problems with the online return process and it just wouldn't let me proceed to complete the return - it said onward outwith the return period when I wasn't. I ended up taking a screen shot of the order page with the order details and my details on it and then printed off a copy of this - I added it to the package and sent it back. I received notification when the goods were received and they advised they were processing. I eventually got the refund back to the card I paid it with.

Darn. Not sounding too positive then. Not somewhere I've ordered from many times before, but this has really put me off using them in the future. Despite me explaining, it's just been a hard no.

In fairness it would be a hard no with most online retailers when it's outside their return window. They have to draw the line somewhere 🤷‍♀️

Totally agree, I'm just surprised at when I've explained circumstances and it was only 1 day over. Plus I was in the same boat with other retailers with no issues at all
