I'm so confused about footwear at the moment.
I currently wear my Birkenstocks with pretty much everything or occasionally my doc shoes or uggs (yes I know they are not in style but I love throwing them on).
After spending years tottering around in stilettos I'm now having an utter aversion to anything that requires any skill to walk in. Thank you early menopause for the recent balance issues but also am delighted fashion has said no thanks, at this stage I consider high heels a symbol of oppression.
I want something slightly dressier to wear with dresses but don't want my feet to be fully encased. I also don't want kitten heels or anything remotely fragile. I dislike anything resembling a reiker sandal.
Can anyone recommend some sandals that are either platform or flatform but not too high and suitable for wide feet?
Budget is flexible.
