Arranged to go to daytime clubbing session with friends, all attending for the first time, in my 50's, no idea what to wear 🤣 not a third world problem I know, but it's been 20-30 years since I went clubbing 😉. Suggestions ?

Where are you going? Drumsheds? If I am going to a day thing in london, I tend to wear a chunky heel just as I don’t really wear trainers out ever (I’m only 5’2) - I have ganni chunky sandals and also the ganni knee boots with a chunky sole, and I wore both out over the last 12 months. I’d probably wear a short dress with them as my legs are tanned but depends on the weather. It’s freezing at the moment. Big earrings or a statement necklace. i’m going to a day thing in Brixton next weekend and got my eye on the Paris Texas cowboy boots, though I think I’d wear them a lot so I’m not just getting them for that. I’m 48 so similar age to you.

Thanks for your reply. Not Drumsheds, a local club thing up in the north, in a concert tupe venue. Live band and DJ. Just wondering if people 'dress up' or just go daytime casual - jeans and the like.

I'd be wearing trainers if I was dancing! Have a fab time

I went to a day disco a few weeks ago and there was a real mixture. Everything from glittery sequinned dresses to basic jeans and t-shirts. It was literally anything goes, so wear what you feel comfy in. It’s was also 95% flat shoes/boots/ trainers so leave the heels at home!
