Which Boots No7 Range?

So I decided I need to improve my skincare and bought myself a Lift & Luminate bundle of smaller sized products which I like ((also includes a 0.3 retinol serum) but now I'm seeing they do a whole retinol range and also a range called Future Renew. I'll soon be needing to buy full sized products as I'm running low and not sure whether to stick to Lift and Luminate or try a different range. I'm 49 and skin is normal. Would like to improve the appearance of forehead lines and keep further wrinkles to a minimum!
Any thoughts? Thanks in advance for your wisdom!

I bought a Future Renew set when it was launched but was quite disappointed. The day cream contains SPF and is not quick at absorbing: I caught myself on a Teams meeting looking like a shiny ghost. I prefer separate SPF. The night cream was ok, nothing special (prefer M&S sleep cream on nights when I don't use tret). The serum is fine and I have repurchased it but can't swear that it's achieved much as my skin was ok to start, few fine lines mainly that the tret isn't holding back anymore.

Thanks for that. Is tret the holy grail then? Any recommendations? Thanks

I've used tret for years, probably after recommendations on here, and I now buy it from Pharmacia Andorra. If you're new to it then it's probably sensible to get it from a company like Skin & Me or Dermatica as they can keep you right about strengths and side effects.

I was allergic to the retinol ones so I’ve gone back to my trusted lift and laminate.

I really like Future renew serum and am currently using the restore and renew day and night cream

I use the No 7 retinol they do although I'm currently using a different retinol

I apply retinol every 3 days and use future renew in between as well as whatever other product I feel like on the day

Grin I think we could all do with laminating our faces

Laminate

I love the lift and luminate. Been using it for a few years now after getting sample sizes in the boots advent calendar. I tend to get the gift sets at Christmas or buy in the three for 2 offers. (I'm 48).

I love the Boots AC

I bought my last Boots Advent calendar just to try out the restore and renew range which I really like

I've used the lift and limited range but my skin seems to really like the R&R range

I like their Hydroluminous night cream gel which I like to apply in the mornings or after retinol

SomethingIn · 25/04/2024 15:47

But the R&R day cream has spf in it so it's good to wear if I'm going make up free

I’ve used the No 7 skincare for years having switched from Clinique when they first launched the serum that the beauty press went mad for. I’ve gradually moved through the ranges as my skin has aged (I’m now mid fifties) and am currently using Future Renew. As well as the FR serum, day cream and night cream I use the No 7 Laboratories Line Correcting booster on my laughter lines and the Firming booster on my jawline, neck & eyelids.

If you’re not sure which to use go along to a larger store and discuss your needs with one if their advisers - I’ve found them very helpful.

I was given the no 7 age reverse range for a gift and was looking forward to using it as I have aged terribly, unfortunately after trying it for a few days, day and night cream and serum, my skin broke out and is red and blotchy and so sore.
What a disappointment.
