Non responding seller on Vinted

Does anyone how long it takes Vinted to auto cancel items and how long sellers get to process cancellations?

I bought something on evening of 15th and it's not been sent. I thought it would auto cancel yesterday as the seller hadn't sent it and ignored a message. It still hasn't auto cancelled. I cancelled the order manually earlier today as it clearly wasn't coming and just wanted to draw a line under it and got an automatic response saying they still needed the seller to confirm it hadn't been sent.

The item is for my son and I'd quite like to actually be able to buy him the thing from someone else, but don't want to order another one until I know the cancellation has gone through.

I'm fairly new to Vinted and when I ordered it I hadn't realised the seller seems to fail to send about 50% of their items. I'll know to check feedback for next time.

I bought something on the 14th, was supposed to be posted by 22nd, seller never sent and Ive just been refunded today (22nd) so it looks like theres an 8 day window between buying and it not being sent before Vinted cancels the transaction.

I guess you'll see some updates tomorrow.

7 days, they refund on the 8th. I've bought tonnes of stuff off vinted and they've always been really reliable at cancelling orders that haven't been marked as sent.

One item wasn't marked as sent, but was actually sent. I received it the day after I received my refund. Vinted said it was the sellers fault for not using the auto send on vinted (they used a different postage method).

I've found vinted excellent for both buyer and seller to be honest! Wasn't expecting to.

I agree with the 8 days. I just had something auto refunded to me but the seller had already messaged me to apologise for the delay. I have re-bought it from her ( but she has good feedback ).
