LV Neverfull Question

I bought the LV Neverfull GM today in monogram canvas. My husband went to the store so I didn't personally check it over before purchase. I have just unwrapped it and am a little confused/concerned by the fact that the monogram on the pouch is upside down on one side? Is that usual? I'm having a bit of a panic! A quick google is confusing me more since there are contradictory views on whether this is okay or not.

I already own an MM in black empreinte leather and the monogram on both sides of the pouch are the right way up on that version.

If he went to a store he has a receipt? Where did he buy?
or take it in store to get it authenticated

I am no expert but I do know some LV monogram products have the monogram upside down on one side. I think it’s because it’s one piece of canvas or leather so when it’s folded one side is always upside down.

As a PP said some LVs are upside down on one side as they use one piece of canvas - but I don't think this is the case with the Neverfull so sounds a bit odd?

Thanks for the replies all. Yes, DH bought it direct from the store. I called customer service today and they confirmed that as @Unexpectedconsequences says, it happens because it’s made from a single piece of canvas. She also confirmed that the empriente leather version has both sides facing upward (which mine does & the reason why I was confused). I would have been extremely surprised if they hadn’t have been authentic as both were bought from the LV store. I was more worried that somehow a “second” had slipped through the quality control net! Thanks again!

I’m amazed that a bag where the entire point of it is the brand wouldn’t be made from joined pieces to ensure the logo was correctly oriented on all sides.
