I got such useful comments on my question about loafers, I'm back again with another shoe-related question!
Okay so this time, I need to know about summer shoes. I'm in the UK. I am going to an event this week and I'm considering wearing open-toe sandals (heeled), or wedges (the LK Bennett closed-toe heeled wedges, very nice).
The question is: is it considered too early in the year for these shoes?
I know it'll partly depend on the weather ... i.e. will it be warm enough.
But sometimes there are unspoken rules about these things. E.g. in the US you don't wear white shoes after Labour Day! etc.
Any tips / wise words?
