The Chelsea Laboratory- good or bad? Please tell me if you have tried their products

Hi, so I'm in my 60s and like many am seeing a noticeable increase in my wrinkles and sagging skin, despite a good skin care routine. I came across a post on Facebook for a skin care product (yes, I know a lot are scams/don't work) but am thinking it might be worth me giving it a try.

However I know lots of ladies here do try things so I thought I would ask if anyone has tried this and what their honest review / opinion of it was. It's called Firm and Restore Formula. The claims seem quite exaggerated, but ladies, if you've tried it, does it work? It's not cheap and I don't want to get ripped off. Any advice, feedback and opinions are most welcome please 🙏 😀

Just to add in case I am breaking any MN rules about asking for info on a specific product and company, this is not a promotional post in disguise and I'm just a wrinkled 63 year old wanting to look her best and wanting advice - please delete this post if I have inadvertently broken any posting rule.

I've just commented on another thread about this, I can't answer your question but I have just placed an order . I'm not PR either - a wrinkly 57 year old . It arrives tomorrow .

You don't get results quickly from using an OTC cream. I use tret and it does work but it took 12 weeks to see a noticeable difference.

I don’t understand the previous posts. I’ve just ordered my fourth container of Firm and Restore because it’s brilliant and my skin looks really good. I should add that I’m 75, with dry sensitive skin, fair and prone to sunburn, and I spend most of my spare time outside gardening. Are we discussing the same product??

I'm like you in my 70s and quite like this product. It had an offer of you put a review on Trustpilot you got a free product sent to you. Did put such a positive review, got my free Restore and Renew and am quite happy. However I gave just had an email from Trustpilot saying they have pulled my review as they can't verify it!!!

I've been using the Chelsea laboratories products for over two years now and I think they're great... I really don't understand some of the hate-posts above which leads me to question their validity? Chelsea labs is great, customer service is fab and with products I love. So what if they've got a few bad reviews, everyone makes mistakes... Ladies I would really recommend up your own mind, I wouldn't trust the hate-posts above though

Carol here. I've just bought mine and it says to apply on clean skin - does that mean you cannot put serum underneath, and what about SPF on top?
Any advice would be appreciated.

I phoned Chelsea lab and I was told you can use Serum and put on sunscreen on top of the moisturiser. I have used the moisturiser for a couple of months though I don't see any improvenent, though other people seem to have.

I watched the video and wanted it to end well but have to wonder why she didn't just ask all those Japanese women with beautiful skin, what they were using. I'm sure they weren't all rubbing leftover fermented food on their skin.

I ordered yesterday morning but have yet to receive a confirmation email. When I placed my order the confirmation screen says an email has been sent, which I screenshot, but no email has arrived (have checked junk folders etc). When I've phoned the number it says there's no-one available to speak to, and to email instead. So I've emailed, but the response reads like a computer generated reply saying that someone will be in touch. And then I receive an email titled 'update on your order', but the contents of the email is actually just information about how to apply their products.

So I've still no idea whether they've received my order, and am seriously questioning whether they're legit. 🤷🏼‍♀️ Not impressed so far!

The adverts are irritating - 10 minutes of waffle before they tell you what they’re flogging. I persevered to the end just to confirm it was as scammy as it sounds.

I received my firm n restore on sept 2025 nhave not seen any results please send reimbursement

Having no results of this firm n restore been using since sept 2025

I ordered 3 bottles a year ago, and saw no difference after using 2 of them, so I gave one to my sister and she hasn't noticed any miracle either (she's got drier skin than me). What's more, the cream is excessively perfumed, which I hate, and made my eyes water. I think it is likely to be an expensive con.
