Good Morning! I’m really interested in trying Tropics Skincare. I’ve been using Drunk Elephant which I love. Is anyone using Tropics at the moment? Thank you!

I do, as does my 12 year old. Really like it and have struggled to find anything else that I like as much or that's as gentle on my very sensitive skin.

I’ve recently started using it again. I use Sunday Riley in the winter months, but find it is too heavy in spring/summer.
The main cleanse/tone/moisturise set is a good starter and I find the serums/masks great.
It does have an MLM selling option, but I have always just bought directly from their site.

PineappleTime · 21/04/2024 09:57

I wouldn't, because it's an MLM which is a predatory and unethical business model. There are much better products to use.

Onemorefortheroad · 22/04/2024 13:42

Any recommendations for other products? I dislike the whole selling thing so would be keen to look elsewhere to be honest.

StoneColdAlibi · 22/04/2024 14:00

Sounds rather like you want to sell it to people instead?

What kind of skincare are you looking for? What do you want it to do?

Me? Can assure you that I have nothing to do with selling it. I just really like the products
🤷🏻‍♀️

@PineappleTime I'm looking for anything that's good for super sensitive skin, aging skin and an adult that still gets spots 🙈

PineappleTime · 22/04/2024 16:39

I use tretonoin from skin + me. After 4 months on it I am starting to see a real improvement. My skin is clearer and looks better - less dead skin cells on the surface I think. I have zero spots. I recommend!
I realise this might be ironic given my criticism of multi level marketing but this link gives you your first month for £3.50. You do need to commit to a few months to see the difference though (though a tube lasts me more than a month as I apply it more like 5 days a week than every day)

I use it and really like it. I have very sensitive skin and can use all of their products without reactions. I buy direct too.

Yep me too. Their unscented range is fab and has never caused my skin to burn and my eyes to sting, which pretty much every other brand I've tried does

BodyKeepingScore · 22/04/2024 19:57

I refuse to on account of it being a predatory MLM

I tried the haircare and my daughter tried the skin & body products. My hair looked dreadful after using the shampoo and dd reacted to the products. I also don't like the fact it's an MLM scheme.
