Sebaceous Hyperplasia - dermatica

So after much googling, I have figured out that the slightly raised spots I have on my face are Sebaceous Hyperplasia. 😭
My mum has them too but hers are quite developed, mine seem quite small and flat atm but there are a lot of them and I really want to keep them in check.

Has anyone had success using tretinoin cream/gel from Dermatica? I have had a look at the website and it states that they don’t treat sebaceous hyperplasia currently but from my reading online, prescription grade retinol cream was a good treatment for SH as well as acne.

Please help if you have had success in treating it!

Hi there
I haven't specifically used dermatica but I've used Medik8 and retirides (prescription retinol) and all I can see is a very slight flattening on my largest ones and what's more it hasn't prevented new ones forming.
The effect has been so minor that I've bitten the bullet and gone to have a diathermy treatment on them all - this was done yesterday so not sure what the outcome will be. I can see the largest one is much less bobbly so fingers crossed it heals well.

Sorry to hear it wasn’t that effective @Cakey46 I was hopeful it would be pretty good.
Hopefully the diathermy will sort them out.

Mine are not terrible yet but I can see them raising and my mum has them really bad so I wanted to prevent from getting to that point.
