Have a 12 year-old ds with shoulder-length curly hair.
I think he is hiding a tribe of pygmies in there.
HELP ME!

I am interested. Have 5 boys but 2 have longish hair and dd has a chin length bob.

It is an issue, dd has nightmare unruly hair. I am reluctant to put hair products on it and 'style' it. She is too young imo.

DD is only 19 months and until recently I just used Johnson's baby shampoo like everyone else. But DD woud develop an unsightly birds' nest at the back of her head each day. Now I use Toni & Guy conditioner on her and it look sleek and shiny .

God, not interesting at all, but i have children with thatched heads and feel as wanna-be Good Mother, I ought to Do Something About It.
But hell, let's talk about figure contouring creams instead. Do they work? Yes or no?

largeginandtonic · 31/03/2008 17:13

Course it eamns some mornings she goes to school looking ike a scarecrow. That brings me down and i dont really care Gawd knows what it does to a 7 year old with peer pressure.

well, you just want summink that makes it not tangly, dont you? or just cut it off fgs.

i had long hair when little. having brush ripped through it was total pita... just cut it off, s'easier innit?

LilyMunster · 31/03/2008 17:17

(i do buy poncey organic shit to wash the ds's hair in tho)

largeginandtonic · 31/03/2008 17:17

lip balm\scrubs or the scar reducing potions about at the moment. Do they really work?

orangina · 31/03/2008 17:17

Let's stick to the term "body contouring" shall we? Lessen the orange peel images that spring to mind..... as for the following week, nail polish is surely a bit TOO DULL?!?! Will ponder.....

castille · 31/03/2008 17:18

I'd love an easy to rinse shampoo that they could use themselves because at 10 and 8 I'd quite like them to be able to wash their own hair.

And a conditioner that really gets knots out. DD2 had long, thick, wavy hair that is a nightmare and I've yet to find the definitive knot-remover.
