Black Tie wedding

I'm invited to a wedding in July and the dress code is Black Tie. I just cannot find anything (online) that I fancy wearing - can anyone help?

I'm mid-50s, average height and a curvy 12/14. Shoulders and arms are toned, so I don't mind sleeveless, but am not keen on strapless.

The other guests will be very international and seriously wealthy, so I don't want anything that screams "Middle England golf club dinner dance". Something slightly edgy or modern would be great, and I'm prepared to spend up to c£800. There are some lovely dresses on Saloni, but I'd like to consider other options first.

If I had unlimited funds, this is what I would buy. But I don't, so I won't!

Thank you - I would certainly be open to renting, but would need to look into how it works. For example, what to do if the dress needs to be altered or shortened. Has anyone had experience of this, or advice?

I wouldn't go full length personally. I did at a recent black tie event and felt slightly trying too hard with that.

The Saloni sleeveless mock neck dress in blue or green colour with an utterly fab pair of heels would be my pick.

Look at Goddiva, they have usually got decent options at a much lower price point than the one you posted (which quite frankly doesn't look expensive). Silk Fred has some options, I've bought a few pieces from them and they look far better than their price range suggests
