Big breasts unfashionable

AIBU in thinking big breasts just don’t look good in clothes?! Since having children my once small chest is huge and saggy, nothing looks good! Getting dressed is a nightmare and I’m sick of not being able to dress how I’d like because of them. Just a lighthearted moan really 🤷🏻‍♀️

A well-fitting bra works wonders!

I’ve always had large breasts. DH likes them! You need to make sure you have been measured correctly and wear a good bra.

The majority of clothing in this country is not particularly cut well, so most things dont look particularly good on bits of us that stick out

You need bust darts and tailored things.

I lost a bit of weight and my breast looked awful. New bra size and they look tremendous (according to DH).
But agree a nicely cut and fitted outfit makes them look even better.

I wear a good bra, but find that my clothes just go over my bust and hang straight down, so I look overweight even though I'm really not! I have to find clothes that have a fitted waist (I'm an hourglass shape and at the bottom end of my BMI, so I'm not very big, I just have 36DD boobs), otherwise everything I put on makes me look like I'm enormous and wearing a sack.

GinBooksChocs · 18/08/2024 18:55

Hope I'm not derailing....could anyone recommend a place to get fitted please? Not m and s, John Lewis or bravissimo as I've tried them. Thank you.

It can be quite hard to dress. I've always had a large bust and find that I have to have something that comes in at the waist or I just look like the wardrobe from Beauty and the Beast.

I agree. I’ve always had big boobs and it doesn’t really work with what’s ‘in’ now. I have lost weight recently but seems to be making boobs saggy and yet still huge. I can look quite matronly and struggling to find what suits. I want a fairly causal look to tailoring doesn’t really appeal.
