Walking dates : khaki jacket and....?

My next date will involve a lot of walking around the city. I have a khaki utility jacket similar to this

I'm a size 16, very busty and as I'm darker, I look way better in lighter colours. I'm self conscious about my belly and also have to wear comfy shoes. How would you style me?

Currently thinking black yoga trousers, trainers, sweatshirt, brown crossbody?

You could do light coloured jeans, white T, cross body bag and trainers for a casual look.

I've got a similar jacket and wear it a lot in the spring and fall. I tend towards jeans. With a longer jacket, try straight leg or slimmer trousers. You could also go for a one-colour column of cream underneath. Ecru denim with cream hooded sweatshirt.

@mdinbc thanks for replying. I have jeans but they tend to be dark blue as I'm quite self conscious about my belly plus a teeny bit tighter around the waistband these days as im trying to lose weight! My weight is on my bust and belly.

What about those trousers with the stripe on the side that I see everywhere? I could buy lighter jeans I guess but what style? Mom jeans?

Next have some nice dark trousers with a side stripe, quite loose leg style that would look good with flat shoes or trainers

I had a look at boyfriend jeans/ankle grazers, would that work?
