I have none
Over plucked when I was young and they never grew back.
I use a brow pencil to draw them on but they never look nice.
This is them
Are they bad?
How can I improve them?

OP you are gorgeous, your first brow picture however looks like a child has done them with a black paint brush. I know there was a weird craze for this sort of look a few years back but it didn't do anyone any favours.

Your second pic is a big improvement in colour but you're still going wrong with the shape IMO. I agree with pp's that they are much too square at the beginning and also they look too rectangular, a natural eyebrow with individual hairs would not look so solid and even.

I think your natural brows are gorgeous, but my advice would be to go a bit/a lot gentler on filling them in because it makes them look very fake.

BubziOwl · 15/04/2024 14:39

Honestly? I think your natural eyebrows look far nicer than any other picture you've posted on this thread, including the one you've just posted of a lady at the brow bar.

If you want to fill them in, I would just go very, very lightly with a pencil and try to stay away from the edges of your natural brow shape as much as possible.

coldcallerbaiter · 15/04/2024 14:44

Your natural brows look better. When I saw the first pic, I honestly thought it was a joke post, they look ridiculous.

I've bought a nyx kit this morning
Does this look a bit better ?
Ignore the corner bit I'm still a bit shaky with that

Colour better but the shapings bad

That's not helpful it's just cruel.

Aren't hers square shaped at the front ?

They are, but they look terrible. Big sharpie brows like these are over.

These are also bad. Don’t go to this nail bar.

I don't think these have faded yet, they're newly done which always looks harsh.

just very fake looking, the arch is well too high, mostly on the left side of the picture.

Way better! Good job.

MushMonster · 15/04/2024 17:51

That is so much better!
You can see some of the haies, which makes it look much more natural.
You can just do the very front part a bit lighter or with the brow pencils that mimic microblading. Then they look vety natural.
Well done!

whatsbestforme · 15/04/2024 18:06

Good job. Serious improvement x

Those are awful, truly awful. Stay away from that brow bar.

CyanBird · 15/04/2024 18:21

Too dark and too solid

ontheflighttosingapore · 15/04/2024 18:37

Why don't you go to a Beaty place and get them to do a better shape and even them up then you can just go over what's there already

Do not go to this brow bar!

Op you said you've been watching YouTube video's, which people have been you watching?

BrandNewBicep · 15/04/2024 18:48

They look much better now. Could be perhaps a little lighter and more natural, but much improved. I can't find the instagram page I was thinking of, but have a look at Shonagh Scott's updated fluffy brows video on YT - it might be more your kind of vibe. We don't all like the same kind of look.

This kinda worries me....I have thick black eyebrows and blond hair!
It all just came that way though!!LOL

Pigeonqueen · 15/04/2024 19:04

It’s better but you seem to be drawing an outline of a brow and then filling them in but actually it would look much more natural if you just used very thin feathery strokes to fill in individual hairs and then use a brush to brush them through- the square ended look is really dated now.

Moonshine5 · 15/04/2024 19:07

OP I would honestly suggest microblading. Unless you're into eyebrows and prepared to put in the practice.
It's expensive but handled with care and could last a few years.

CestLaVie123 · 15/04/2024 19:35

Maybe it's because I'm from a previous generation who hardly gave much of a second-thought to our brows, aside from some light tidy-up plucking --- but to me your natural brows look fabulous! The drawn-on ones, sorry but a hard no

BIWI · 15/04/2024 19:58

I agree! Your natural brows look so much better. Just brush them so that they point upwards. If you still think they're a bit too thin, use something like RapidBrow (that I recommended earlier). Honestly it's made the world of difference to my brows.

Cas112 · 15/04/2024 20:17

@henlake7 thick filled in dark brows are definitely on the way out and more natural brows with added hair strokes on the way in

OSU · 15/04/2024 20:20

If you live in Dorset come and see me. I have been doing my brows for 31 years now. Totally blonde and flat to my face so they are invisible but fully there. I am really good at it and would never consider cocking them up with micro blading.
