Sizing for Birkenstocks?!

So I’ve got Birkenstocks clogs and adore them. They ran big so had to size down. (7)
I’m normally a 7.5/8

I’ve had Birkenstocks sandals before and found them to look huge on my feet. However would like to give them another go this year.

Is the narrow fit a good idea? Or is it mega narrow? I was wondering if the narrow suits women and the regular would be for men?

I have both narrow and standard and don’t find much difference. My feet are pretty narrow, but not stupidly so.

I do size down in them though-clogs and sandals and buy a 37, when I’m usually a UK5. The rubber Eva ones are more true to size.

Narrow for birks means normal or regular and it’s the regular that are actually wide fit.

In my experience narrow Birkenstocks are not really narrow at all. I have 3 pairs of Arizonas.

I am eyeing up the Boston clogs for wearing around the house. Wincing a tad that they’re £130, but I love them.

I size down. But I like regular more than narrow. You can get free delivery so could order more and try them on
