Budget basics for my weird body shape

So, the plan is to lose weight. But realistically it might not happen overnight.

I need some new basics - tops are sorted, but bottoms are the issue. Tracky bottoms, combat pants, yoga pants, casual wide leg trousers.

I prefer stretchy, no zip, as I am prone to bloating - plus if I do get my arse in gear and lose weight they’ll last longer.

I’d prefer cheap and cheerful if possible - due to afore mentioned weight loss plans.

Problem is I’m a weird shape. I have really long legs for my height and need a bare minimum 33 inch inside leg (that’s with flats). But I carry all my weight on my belly so realistically also need a size 20.

Places do Curve, but not tall. Or they do Tall, but not Curve.

I even looked at Shein (never shopped there before) - you can either be fat or tall, but not both.

I’m happy to spend on quality brands when I get to a decent-ish size but for now I’m looking for something budget. Can anyone point me in the right direction? I haven’t bought clothes for myself for ages other than off EBay because I kept hoping to lose weight but now things are getting desperate. I do keep hoping I’m going to magically wake up and be size 14 tomorrow but it doesn’t seem to be happening…. 😂

M & s do joggers in longer length, they only seem to have the charcoal colour in size 20 online atm, but for £14 they are good. I just got a replacement pair, I have to say the material is thinner than the last pairs I bought, but they wash well and hang nicely. They even do ‘extra long’ as well as the long, but I find the long fit me fine for my 33” inside leg.

M and S are very long legged these days. Yours is plus sized plus long as is White Stuff and Seasalt.

Does 'Long Tall Sally' still exist?

Yes ,they've joined with Yours now. Quality isn't as good as it used to be but good for basics.

M&S definitely do 33" leg in larger sizes. They've got some really nice trousers in at the moment.
