Growing out buzzcut

4 months post buzzcut and I'm trying to grow it out - but I look terrible, any headscarves or hats or something I can wear to hide it?

I had a buzz cut at the back of my head and it looked great. I think they announced the first lock down less than a week after I'd had it done so I was on my own maintaining it. I had to grow it out cold turkey 😩

In the summer I just used those thick, satin headband type headscarves which go over the front of your head and tie at the back of your neck.

Once it gets to pixie length, you'll be grand and can just get it cut into a pixie, then long pixie, then bob etc etc.

I've gone off cutting my hair short after the lock down grow out shenanigans

Definitely learned my lesson! You get addicted to cutting it, cold turkey i think might be the way to go otherwise you just cut and cut haha

also last question sorry how long did it take to hit pixie length?

Yes exactly like that one.

I think mine took a few months to get to short pixie length. But I couldn't get it cut, so it just looked mad until it got to bob length. I remember cutting it myself and it was a bob length then, so the hairdressers hadn't opened by the time it was that length (sorry- so vague)!

Thank you! I got lucky in a charity shop although waiting for this to arrive, nah I understand! it's hard to describe the inbetween phase!
