Birkenstocks or UGG or.....

I'm looking for a pair of flat sandals, not tan, preferably in a bright colour.

In the past I've had Birkenstocks and they've lasted for years, copycats don't last more than one year. However this weekend I say some UGG sandals that I liked but I've never bought them so don't know a) the width or B) the quality and c) the comfort.

If anyone with wide feet can let me know their thoughts or recommend another good quality brand as I don't like buying sandals every year

I've looked at docs but they're really heavy and I have arthritis which they'd trigger, otherwise I agree with you

Moshulu do Birkenstock style. The style is (or was) identical. Currently wearing a pair I bought about 10 years ago.

I don't think you can beat Birkenstock for wider feet. I have very wide feet and a high instep. I wear their sandals in the summer, their boots and trainers at other times

Which Ugg sandals did you see? I got some green Ugg Goldenstar sandals last summer and they’re extremely comfortable! I find them pretty wide and they have velcro straps so can be adjusted. The only thing that concerns me is that the outsole has started wearing away at the front and back.

Also look at Sorel. I have a slide on two-strap pair from a few years ago in a soft yellow/green that I really like.
