Murad or Weleda or does it make a blind bit of difference?

Have been working my way through my beauty haul from my 2023 Beauty Advent Calendars.

Loving the Murad Vitamin C and Weleda Skin Food moisturisers.

The Murad full size is extreeeeemely spendy and the Weleda not the cheapest face cream on the market.

I generally use something like Aldi caviar cream....should I stick with this or save my pennies for the more expensive creams I've been trying and loving?

I like the idea that Weleda has more natural ingredients in it and Murad seems so luxurious but....are they all just the same in the end?!

The six million dollar question!

Moisturisers are really not worth spending money on unless you really struggle with very dry skin. Save it for serums or prescription tretinoin.

I use Weleda. Skin Food (Light usually) because I like the smell, texture, and I'm a sucker for a bit of eco marketing. And it's more or less in budget. Especially with a Boots or Super drug offer.
That's really my criteria for skincare.
I've never really felt that I have sensitive skin, but when I tried Vit C and retinol, I didn't like the effect, so I stick to a very basic hyaluronic acid serum.

For moisturisers, just go with the one that works best for your skin - soaks in, smells nice, doesn't make it feel tight etc etc. If that's Aldi, stick with it. I don't think this is an area where you need to spend a lot.

You can use serums etc to add the extra benefits you are after, whether that's vitamin C, peptides etc.

Thanks all.
I have the No7 Future Renew serum...no idea what's in it tbh but it was on special offer.
