Trainers with low tongue

I’m looking for white trainers with a low tongue, I have cankles and the great big tongues poking up the front of my foot look terrible so any suggestions welcome as these are apparently as rare as rocking horse s**t…. Also, I need wide fit and hate skechers.

Vans have a few styles that are low over the front, possibly the authentic model

I wear these. They aren’t joggers/trainers, so if for exercising they’d be no use. But to wear with trousers, dresses, skirts etc they are really good. You don’t get that ‘cut off at the ankle’ look, and they fit wider feet (I brought my daughter some but she has narrow feet and they were too wide). You can get them in canvas or pretend leather. No leather, unfortunately.

converse sneakers

Adidas SL72 have a very short tongue.

Thank for your replies, I love vans and have a few pairs so wanted something different this time, I’ve ordered a pair of the SL72’s in a beautiful nearly pink colour (there was me thinking I wanted white!!)

Totally recommend the Converse ballet sneakers from above. I know exactly what you mean about a big tongue coming right up to your cankle. These converse ones give your feet a nice flattering dainty look, i have two pairs white and blue, i love them

I love the Converse too! Superga are also low cut if you want an alternative .

Superga don't have a high tongue.
