Here is me modelling a pair on holiday.

My mum handmade us some in gaudy rave like patterns circa 1989 when I was about 9/10 😂

I'm pleased because if they're 'in' it means they'll be in the shops! Shorts have been SO short for years now. I saw a woman in a pair of just below knee denim cargo shorts at the weekend and she looked great. Wearing them with Jordan high tops.

I'm happy and off to search for more!

With shorts, finding the length that suits your legs makes all the difference. If that's the length that suits you, stock up while you can!

According to Vogue, short shorts are what's in. That will have filtered down to the high street by next summer when there won't be Bermuda short in sight.

So comfy! Easy to wear! Not many people really can wear very short shorts and frankly it's rarely warm enough!

I was hoping pedal pushers would be back. My knees are hideous so something that goes over and comes back in at the narrow bit before the calf muscle is the most flattering on me.

There were quite a few longer shorts in Primark when I was in yesterday.
Places that have surfy or skater clothes or outdoor camping brands have them too.
You just have to find the length that suits you and then style it however

If any of these were pulled up properly they'd be mid length. I was out last night and had to fight the urge to pull people's trousers up.
