2cnd one is much nicer in my opinion. Looks more expensive. The first one dosent even go with what the model is wearing so would be harder to style. Ive heard good things about this brand of bag. Looks way more expensive than the prics tag

ShirleyPhallus · 08/04/2024 10:38

That first one is hideous😆

the second one is MUCH nicer

i have a few strathberry bags, they’re classy and wear well

Bananabredd · 08/04/2024 10:46

Not the monogrammed one. It's awful. The second one is much more classy.

CandidHedgehog · 08/04/2024 11:55

It looks like it’s definitely the solid colour one, then.

Gettingonmygoat · 08/04/2024 12:31

The .solid one will never age

FayCarew · 08/04/2024 13:10

I'm not keen on either of them (don't like chains) but definitely not the first link.

DramaAlpaca · 08/04/2024 13:40

I much prefer the plain navy one.

Do you like chain straps on handbags? I don't much and that's why I don't use my East/West a lot, even though it's a gorgeous bag.

I definitely recommend the brand, the quality is very good.

bendmeoverbackwards · 08/04/2024 14:58

I like the plain navy too OP.

Love the brand, I have a midi tote in grey and also a Lana Ossete.

Mosaic123 · 08/04/2024 17:25

The plain one is classy.

KoolKookaburra · 08/04/2024 17:26

Go for the one that sparks joy

Good point. I’ve got an east/west mini that I tend to use more evenings plus a black midi tote that I use day to day.

Maybe another midi tote would be better

Not a fan. The white would mark terribly as soon as anything touched it (denim, biro, kid with blueberry on their fingers…)

diddl · 08/04/2024 20:21

I also don't like chains.

Love the Lana Osette!

FayCarew · 08/04/2024 20:45

The midi one is much nicer @CandidHedgehog . In one colour though, not two tone.

Motherofpearlxoxo · 08/04/2024 21:13

Another vote for the second one!

SecondClassmyass · 08/04/2024 21:16

I have one in dark green croc effect. It’s a pretty bag but sooo impractical. I know it’s a small bag and you are not meant to load it with laptop and a mini fridge, but honestly nothing fits inside, it’s super awkward to open and close and the leather is very hard.

Springchickenonion · 08/04/2024 23:25

I love strathberry. But I'm not classy enough to pull off the look. I do love the navy, the dark green and the pastels

I much preferred the second one. But I did agree it looked very small and not very practical although a very attractive bag.

What about something like

I came here to find out about strawberry handbags.
Think I need glasses after all.

Definitely the second one..
Can you get much in it ?
I had a beautiful Braun Buffel one I bought in Singapore. It cost the earth but all I could get in it was a make up bag and a purse

Same 😂

CandidHedgehog · 11/04/2024 08:43

In answer to the people who as if you can get much in it, no.

For work I generally have a massive rolling laptop bag anyway with my shoes, lunch, laptop etc. in it and when I’m not working, I generally have a cloth shopping bag.

I gave up on minimalism years ago.

Mistymornin · 11/04/2024 16:02

Defo the 2nd one.

A Strathberry is my next bag purchase 🤞🤞
