Tring to save money so i've plucked them myself and wanting to tint them. I am blonde and eyebrows light-mid brown I would say. I've brought a light tint will this be ok? I don't them too dark. Also does anyone tint their lashes?

Very easy to do, I do my own brows now. I used to have them tinted and waxed at salon, but now days I can pluck and tint myself at a fraction of the cost. Literally just follow the pack instructions. I think it's very hard to mess it up.

I'm not brave enough to tint my lashes myself though. I just wear mascara every day then have a lash tint before going on holidays where I'll be in water.

Yes, light brown, but only leave it on for about 30 seconds, then wipe off and see whether they are dark enough. You can always repeat if not.

30 seconds?! Will it take that quickly?!

I suppose follow the pack instructions, the one I use says leave 5 - 10 minutes. I found 5 wasn't enough so now leave them for the full 10

Start with a short amount of time and reapply if needed.
I leave it for about 3-4minutes.

I use the eyelure dye. Every easy to do yourself, just take your time.

GlobalCitz · 07/04/2024 20:39

Just for Men (beard).

It's all over Tik Tok and I sneered at it but it's absolutely stellar.

Also it works for my dye resistant two strands of temple head hair.

Apply - leave for a bitwipe off, repeat if needed. It's hard to make them too dark. I apply with an old mascara wand.

I use Refectocil from amazon- a better colour than eyelure - it's what the salons use.

If you have dyed your skin just put a big blob of moisturiser leave for a bit and the dye comes off.

Refectocil is way more potent than Eylure so wipe off eyebrows after only a minute and check.

Be very sparing on lashes, as you do not want a blob of that in your eye. But it's hardly possible to overtint lashes.

Mine take really quickly and they sound a similar colour to the OP’s. I’d rather reapply than go too dark.

Which product specifically? I'm also very fair and interested in doing my own brows, but more than a little nervous as I've never done any kind of home dyeing...

You buy the refectocil tint + the developer (cream or liquid) + glass mixing jar.

Some might sell as a kit but as the developer will last 10+ tubes of tint do you only really need to buy once.
