Guerlain face care

Looking for vamp up my face care, whilst supplementing my body as well. I have heard good things on the whole about Guerlain as a brand, boy are they expensive! Any recommendations? I will probably see if I can get some samples first on ebay, or similar before I splurge.

Unless you have money to burn that is not where I would start - why not try midrange stuff first? What exactly do you want to achieve skin-wise? Even if high end brand translates to high end ingredients, they will not necessarily result in an efficient product that works for you.

Look at ingredients not brands.
The only proven ingredients in skincare are vitamin C, vitamin A, acid exfoliation and sunscreen.

None of which need to be Guerlain prices. I don't think any Guerlain skincare has any actives like the above in enough of a % to be able to actually do much other than hydrate and cleanse. You never need to spend on moisturizer or cleanser unless you want to
